Module 1, “Vata + Pitta + Kapha: Understanding Your Ayurvedic Blueprint,”  touches on the history and philosophy of ayurveda, followed by a deep dive into 5 element theory, the 3 doshas, and the ayurvedic time clock.  You’ll have the opportunity to discover your personal ayurvedic blueprint and learn how to read it so that you're able to make informed decisions regarding your health and well-being. We will also touch on the concepts of healing from an ayurvedic perspective and what wellness truly means.

Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, is a powerful holistic healing system that offers us the tools to live our most vital life. By understanding our individual ayurvedic blueprint we hold a deeper knowing of our inherent strengths and possible challenges. With this wisdom we are able to make informed decisions that will keep us thriving and healthy. In ayurvedic philosophy no two people are the same which means that each person’s path to health and well-being will be individual and to be healthy, all parts of a person, mind, body, and spirit, are tended to and cared for consistently.

I’ll be offering this workshop as a 3 part series where you will be able to take each workshop individually or as a whole series.  Each workshop will be held via a live Zoom call the last Tuesday of each month, beginning January 26th, from 6-8pm.  For those who are not able to attend the live Zoom session, recordings will be sent via email so that you are able to watch at your convenience.  However, I highly recommend attending live if possible since each part will include a Q+A session where you’ll be able to ask questions about ayurvedic philosophies, self-care practices, and how to work with your particular ayurvedic blueprint. 

 

I recommend signing up for all 3 workshops if you’ve not already attended one of my ayurvedic workshops in person.  Module 2 does build on the concepts from Module 1 and it would help to have a working knowledge of ayurvedic philosophy, 5 element theory, and the 3 doshas. 

 

I’m incredibly excited about Module 3!  This will be like booking an ayurvedic consultation with me but at a deeply discounted rate. I’ll be offering instructions on several ayurvedic practices that balance doshic excess and support your vitality.  These will include practices in the categories of yoga/movement, daily routine, spiritual/inspirational rituals, and the 6 tastes. You’ll be able to ask questions that pertain specifically to your dosha and how to work with your strengths and possible challenges throughout the seasons as well as how to make these practices accessible to you.

In an effort to make my offerings more accessible to everyone, I am offering 3 scholarships as well as a donation based offering.  If you're unable to invest in these modules or the whole series and feel truly called to learn more, I don't want you to feel limited.  Use the donation button at the bottom of this page, to pay what you can or apply for one of the 3 no-questions-asked scholarships available.

Module 2, “Prana + Tejas + Ojas: Elemental Healing Through the Vital Essences," will look at the positive aspects of the 5 elements.  Considering that the doshas are dis-ease building aspects of the elements, it's important to know the positive aspect of the elements and how they can support our health and wellbeing.  By supporting our ojas, "our tank," we can better support our capacity to digest and discern all that happens in our everyday life.  With this knowledge we can then know how to better direct our energy and life force to that which keeps us strong and vital.

Module 3, “Rituals: Balancing Doshic Excess + Vital Essence Support Practices," will be like booking an ayurvedic consultation with me!  During this module you will learn various rituals and practices applying "opposite therapy" to lessen the dis-ease building qualities of the doshas.  We will also discuss accessible ways to build and support the vital essences that encourage a regulated nervous system, allow us to be more adaptable, and foster our inherent resilience.
